Privacy Policy
Revision of 5 September 2026. Version recorded in the app: 2026-09-05.
1. Who this policy is about
Two different people, and the difference between them is the main thing to understand here.
You. You installed the app, created an account and agreed to this.
Whoever is at the other end of the line. They gave us no consent — neither the person who calls you, nor the business the assistant calls at your request. What we know about them is exactly what was said in the conversation, and we treat it accordingly.
The assistant always states that it is an AI — on every call, without exception.
We do not record the audio of a conversation and we store it nowhere. The voice is processed as it happens, to turn it into text, and is gone with the call. What remains is the transcript.
2. What we collect
About you: the name and email address from the account you sign in with — Apple or Google; the phone number you entered; the country and carrier of that number; your assistant settings.
Neither of them gives us more than that. The app asks for no access to your mail, your files or your contacts. If you sign in with Apple and choose to hide your address, we are given Apple's relay address and never see your real one — that is a decision you make, and it costs you nothing here.
About each call: the other party's number, the time and duration, the transcript, the summary, and the facts the assistant took from the conversation. Audio is not among them.
From the permissions on your phone:
| Permission | What happens with it |
|---|---|
| Contacts | Matching happens on the device itself. Your address book never leaves the phone and never reaches our servers. |
| Calendar | Write-only. The assistant adds what was agreed in the call and does not read your events — otherwise it could disclose your plans to the person it is speaking to. |
| Location | Only while the app is open, and only to determine the country for the call. We do not keep location history. |
| Notifications | To tell you when a call has happened, or when the assistant needs a decision from you. |
3. Why it is needed
The transcript exists so that you can check the assistant. When it writes "they promised a discount until the end of the month", a word-for-word quote stands beside it — that is what turns a retelling into evidence. Without it a summary can neither be verified nor disputed.
The other party's number is needed so that you can call back, and so that the blocked list and the refusal of sales calls work.
We do not use the content of your conversations to train models, and we do not sell data. There is no advertising in the service.
4. Who we pass it to
A call is physically impossible without these companies. Each sees only what its part of the work requires.
| To whom | What for | What they see |
|---|---|---|
| Telnyx, Twilio | telephony — the call itself | numbers, audio stream |
| LiveKit | real-time voice processing | audio stream |
| Deepgram | speech recognition | audio, text |
| Cartesia | speech synthesis | the text the assistant speaks |
| OpenAI | the model that holds the conversation itself | the text of the conversation |
| Anthropic | interpreting your errands and building the call plan | the text of the errand and the plan |
| Supabase | data storage | everything listed in §2 |
| Apple | account sign-in, and payment for minute packs | name and email; the payment — we never see your payment details |
| account sign-in | name and email |
Data is stored on servers in the European Union. Some of the providers above process it outside the EU; such transfers rely on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses. The service itself is operated from Ukraine and administered from there; storage stays in the EU.
5. How long we keep it
Audio is not stored at all, so it has no retention period. For three days in September 2026 we kept recordings of conversations for ninety days; on 5 September we stopped and deleted what had accumulated. The voice of somebody who signed nothing with us is now held nowhere.
| What | For how long |
|---|---|
| Audio of the conversation | not stored |
| Transcript, summary, facts | until you delete the call or the account |
| The other party's number, time, duration | the same |
| Your profile and settings | as long as the account exists |
| Numbers that asked not to be called | as long as the account exists; this is what stops them being called again |
Deleting your account from the app erases everything listed above.
6. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- obtain a copy of your data;
- correct inaccurate data;
- have it erased ("the right to be forgotten");
- restrict processing or object to it;
- port your data to another service;
- lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority — in Spain that is the AEPD.
The fastest way to exercise the right to erasure is the "Delete account" button in the app. For anything else, write to us.
If the assistant called you and you want your number never to be dialled again, or the transcript of your conversation deleted, write to support@gcall.app — you do not need to be a user of the service to do that.
7. Who the data controller is and how to reach them
The controller is Bogdan Mozgovyi, a natural person who operates GCalls Assistant as a sole trader from Ukraine. There is no company behind the service.
Write to support@gcall.app about anything in this policy — a copy of your data, a correction, an erasure, an objection, or a question about how the assistant handled a call. You do not need to be a user of the service to write.
